The author is an international tax attorney who resides in the Bay Area and writes fiction under the pen name: V.E. Rosswell. A member of the California State Bar, Authors Guild, WMA, and the Women's National Book Association, the author has lectured extensively throughout the United States (World Trade Center; Practicing Law Institute; medical and professional societies) and abroad (ESSEC, Paris; Comm. of Californias, Monterey, Mexico; San Jose, Costa Rica.)

A former representative to Mexico for the Commission of the Californias, the author is the originator of the Women and Money Series which Dean Witter Brokerage acquired during the mid-Seventies. During the late Seventies and early Eighties, the author, then a member of the International Fiscal Association, wrote about tax policy relating to the tax exemption of United States charitable organizations under a grant at the Hoover Institution, Stanford University.

The author produced the original tax analysis of foreign foundations, first published by the International Division of Prentice-Hall, and also wrote numerous articles on foreign trusts and offshore tax planning for a variety of periodicals including the British American Journal and the Practicing Law Institute Series on International Taxation.

Into the Deep--The Haven is set in the Cayman Islands, a Caribbean tax haven; Book II: At Lunch with the Lord (Bermuda) is a work-in-progress scheduled for release at the end of the year 2000; Book III: Dawn of a New World Order will complete the Tax Haven Trilogy and is set in the Netherlands Antilles.
